Shipping address errors are common – but not at Honey’s Place! As part of our dedication to our customers’ success, we have implemented address verification on all submitted orders to assure deliveries are made accurately and on time.

Incorrect information – even non-standard address formatting – can result in undeliverable-as-addressed (UAA) packages that are either returned to Honey’s Place or lost in transit. The Honey’s Place Automated Address Verification service helps reseller platform customers (like Amazon sellers) and other drop-ship customers overcome this challenge and reduce the risk of upsetting customers.

By verifying shipping addresses, our customers have seen a reduction in undeliverable mail and saved thousands on double shipping costs and pricey change of address fees (up to $12.95 per shipment!).

Validating an address before shipment helps reduce the amount of mail returned due to an incorrect or unconventional listing. Depending on the size and frequency of a customer’s drop-ship orders, order verification can lead to significant savings of time and money and substantially reduce the number of undeliverable shipments.

How Does Honey’s Place Address Verification Work?

  • Enter all of your orders through our Quick Order Page, which allows you to ship multiple drop-ship orders using one screen.
  • Enter the full receiving address, click the Verify button, and our address verification technology will quickly validate it, including zip code.
  • If there are any errors, the address verification tool will automatically display the correct address.
  • If an address line is longer than 30 characters, the address verification tool will alert you. Either move part of the address to the second line or use abbreviations to shorten the address.
  • Remember: shipping companies such as FedEx and UPS do not deliver to Post Office (PO) Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Our system will automatically detect these addresses and alert you to either change the address or select a different shipping fulfillment company.

PLEASE NOTE: Honey’s Place API also verifies addresses, including the zip code. Just like our Quick Order Page, if we cannot validate an address through our system, our API customers will be alerted.

You will be alerted when the following errors are detected:

  • Missing apt or suite #
  • Missing street #
  • Missing street name
  • Addresses longer than 30 characters
  • PO Box checks
